Hi friends,
Rep. Dave Baker here from the State Capitol.
While this video was filmed last Friday, there are some updates I wanted to share with you all. We’re heading into the final stretch of an incredibly unique legislative session, one that’s evenly split between Republicans and Democrats. That balance has brought real challenges, but also some rewarding moments of bipartisan cooperation.
I'm excited to share a quick update on the Workforce and Labor bill (which passed last Friday), what’s ahead in conference committee, and how we’re pushing back against costly mandates while still supporting Minnesota families and workers. Plus, with both Fishing Opener and Mother’s Day this past weekend, I’ve got a few personal shout-outs to share.
