The Opportunity Youth Forum (OYF) is thrilled to reconvene its national network in LA for the first time in 10 years! Together, we will engage in national conversations that inspire intergenerational approaches to achieving equity, justice, and impact, in ways that improve systems that serve opportunity youth and foster belonging, meaning-making, wellbeing, and purpose (BMWP). By immersing in truth-telling and leveraging the knowledge of our network, we will propel intergenerational partnerships and foster progress to achieve meaningful outcomes that inform policies and build towards an equitable future where all people can flourish and thrive.

Join us for this important discussion on small business support strategies that help businesses and workers both thrive, achieving Shared Success.

How can private sector employers support their employees’ financial resilience across public and private systems? To find out, join the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program for a virtual public event on May 22 at 1:00 p.m. ET. Co-hosted by the Center for Social Development and the National Academy of Social Insurance, this event will elevate leadership, research, and innovations that can help workers meaningfully benefit from the range of resources available to them.

The Socrates Nara Seminar is held in partnership with the Aspen Institute Japan and generously supported by the Lauder-Kobayashi Scholarship. The Seminar will take place from May 23-25, 2025. Socrates international seminars include three seminar sessions, program meals, and local excursions/tours. Seminar tuition is $3,000, which includes lodging, materials, meals, and an excursion in Nara. Tuition does not include travel.
