Dear supporters,
As we have said in previous emails, the Texas Women’s Privacy Act, SB 240 / HB 239 still has not had a hearing in the House State Affairs Committee where it now sits! Time is running out! You will be joined by key leaders in the Women’s Privacy/Sports movement such as: |
-
Peyton McNabb- former high school volleyball player who was knocked unconscious when a male volleyball player spiked a ball in her face. She was punished by her college and sorority for telling a man to leave the women’s restroom at her college
- Amie Ichikawa – a former inmate and born-again Christian who was forced to bunk and be in close, intimate spaces with male prisoners
-
And so many more guests to be announced!
|
We will hold a press conference at 9 a.m. at the Texas Capitol. At 10 a.m., we will meet in the Capitol Auditorium in the Capitol extension where we will educate, activate, and motivate you to go talk to legislators on why Texas needs to pass a law to protect women in their private spaces. |
