Last week, lawmakers on the House Natural Resources Committee advanced a proposal that would open the door to selling federal lands. If efforts like this succeed, we could lose access to the trails, parks, and wild places we love.

That’s why I’ll be joining TPL advocates on Capitol Hill this week. We’re meeting with members of Congress and urging them to champion the Public Lands in Public Hands Act. This bipartisan legislation will prevent the sale of our shared lands for short-term gain.
