After more than 5 years leading the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, Chair Ben Wikler is stepping away this June.

Throughout his tenure, Ben has guided our party through a remarkable era of progress and success. Under his leadership, Wisconsin helped defeat Donald Trump in 2020, reelected Governor Tony Evers in 2022, and secured two pivotal state Supreme Court victories — shifting the Court to a progressive majority for the first time in 15 years.

Ben has transformed WisDems into a nationally recognized powerhouse for progressive change, building lasting infrastructure and momentum for the fights ahead.
