** 'Under Cover of Night,' GOP Unveils Plan to Kick Over 8 Million Off Medicaid

House Republicans late Sunday unveiled legislation that analysts said would rip Medicaid coverage from millions of low-income Americans—including children and people with disabilities—to help fund tax breaks that would disproportionately benefit the wealthy.

"My heart aches for the people whose lives will be ruined if this becomes law," said Bobby Kogan, senior director of federal budget policy at the Center for American Progress, in response to the bill. "So it's our job to stop it."
