Dear A.,

The United States informed Israel tonight that Hamas plans to release Israeli citizen and New Jersey native Edan Alexander, who has spent the last 583 days held hostage by Hamas terrorists.

The Prime Minister’s Office said Hamas has agreed to release Alexander “without conditions or anything in exchange.”

“The U.S. has conveyed to Israel that this is expected to lead to negotiations for the release of hostages according to the original Witkoff framework, which Israel has already accepted,” Prime Minister Netanyahu

said . “Israel is preparing for the possibility that this effort will be implemented. In accordance with Israel's policy, the negotiations will be held under fire, based on the commitment to achieve all of the objectives of the war.”

AIPAC applauds the pressure levied by the Trump administration to get Hamas to free Edan. The barbaric terror group continues to hold 58 other people hostage, including four other Americans. The fight to free the remaining hostages will continue until they are all released.

U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff will reportedly arrive in Israel tomorrow to finalize the agreement, and is holding discussions with Israel, Qatar, and Egypt on a potential deal to free additional hostages.

Israel is maintaining its ultimatum to Hamas that it will initiate the next phase of the war in Gaza if the terrorists do not agree to the Israeli-accepted, U.S.-brokered deal that the Iran-backed terror group rejected two months ago.

WSJ: ICC prosecutor sexually assaulted staff, aimed to protect himself with arrest warrants against Israelis

A report by The Wall Street Journal yesterday revealed that ICC prosecutor Karim Khan issued arrest warrants for Israeli officials to protect himself from sexual assault allegations and silence his accuser.

Khan allegedly attacked a lawyer in her 30s repeatedly, including after he summoned her to his suite at the Millennium Hilton Hotel next to the UN headquarters in New York City.

“Khan began to touch her sexually, a pattern of behavior that she said had been going on for months...The timing of the [arrest warrants] has spurred questions about whether Khan was aiming to protect himself from the sexual-assault allegations.”

“As the abuse allegations were swirling among ICC staff and others, Khan allegedly tried to get his accuser to disavow them by telling her the charges would hurt the Palestinian investigation, according to her testimony.”

“The woman, who is married and has a child, alleges Khan performed nonconsensual sex acts with her on missions to New York, Colombia, Congo, Chad and Paris,” the report adds.

In remarkable operation, Mossad recovers remains of IDF soldier in “the heart of Syria” after nearly 43 years missing

Sgt. First Class Zvi Feldman went missing during the First Lebanon War. Israel has been searching for him for nearly 43 years, and today, the IDF announced

a remarkable covert Mossad operation to rescue Feldman’s body from deep behind enemy lines.

In a daring mission inside Syria, non-Israeli Mossad agents reportedly used a cover story to embed themselves in the country for several years. Following the fall of Assad, the team launched an operation to recover his remains from a graveyard, where they successfully identified Feldman’s DNA and remnants of the soldier’s clothing.

The Mossad team operated “under fire” during the mission. Feldman’s family was notified of the successful operation today, once his remains were returned to Israel and proper identification was completed.

“For decades, Zvika was missing, and the efforts to locate him, along with the other missing soldiers from that same battle, never ceased for a moment,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement.

Below is video showing Feldman's coffin draped in an Israeli flag, as troops recite the Mourner's Kaddish.
