Governor DeWine Appoints Sanders to Fill Lawrence County Probate-Juvenile Court Vacancy

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the appointment of Patricia Sanders to serve as a judge on the Lawrence CountyCourt ofCommon Pleas, Probate and Juvenile Division.

Sanders, of South Point, willassume office on September 9 and serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending February 8, 2021. Sanders is replacing Judge David Payne, who retired.

Sanders received her bachelors degree from Ohio University and law degree from University of Dayton School of Law. Sanders currently serves as Magistrate for the Lawrence County Probate-Juvenile Court; a Judge Advocate, Major in the United States Army Reserve; and an adjunct professor at West Virginia State University.
