You all call me Congresswoman — but to my little boy, I’m just Mama. And let me tell you, that’s the greatest gift in the world.
Like so many moms out there, I know what it’s like to juggle motherhood, a full-time job, and a million other responsibilities. It’s not always easy, but we show up, get it done, and then do it all over again the next day.
That lived experience is something I carry with me every day in Congress. It’s what drives my work in Congress to build a future where families can thrive, parents are supported, and every child has the opportunities to succeed.
Today, I want to say happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there.
