Hi there — I’ll be quick so you can get back to the celebrations, but I wanted to wish you and your loved ones a Happy Mother’s Day.

While today is meant to be a day of recognition and love, as a mom, I can’t help but reflect on the current state of our country. Trump and his extreme administration are whipping out dangerous policy after dangerous policy, and moms — new, working, and everyone in between — bear the brunt. 

The best gift we could give to all moms is a system that prioritizes their health, well-being, and success. Programs like universal child care, affordable health care, and paid family leave. And that means we’ve got to take back the House in 2026 — which starts now. 

For all of the moms and mother figures out there, I hope you’ll chip in a few dollars today to support my work. Because you know what they say — a mother’s work is never done.
