“The Perfect Mother’s Day”

This is a day to remember,
All the good things about Mom.
How she takes care of the members,
Of the family with patient calm.

She can anticipate problems,
Before they bring you down.
It is insight with solutions,
That brings smiles all around.

This perfect Mom is a vision,
From Proverbs thirty-one.
There isn’t any woman,
Who has never come undone.

So be gentle in your comments,
And make a special endeavor,
She’ll appreciate the contents,
Of a card, dessert, or letter.

Or call her to acknowledge,
You are her next of kin.
If you went off to college,
She wants to know how you’ve been.

Make this as perfect a day,
As is in your reach to do.
She will appreciate the way,
You bring her into your view.

Forgiveness may be the key,
To the perfect Mother’s Day.
Acknowledge her best ability,
Forgive and love her this way.

If that does not apply to you,
Then you are extremely blessed.
It may be that your own Mom,
Forgave you, without protest.
