Dear Donald Trump,

In your first 100 days, you managed to sink to the lowest approval rating in 80 years, beating out only yourself from your first term.

America and the world are disgusted, and you should be deeply ashamed.

But I do want to thank you for one thing:

You’ve inspired me and thousands of others to help elect Black Democrats who will stand up to you and SAVE our democracy. That’s why I’m signing this letter and donating $5 to The Collective PAC today →

Here’s what I want you to know:

Every time you try to deport immigrant families, I welcome my neighbors and stand up for their rights.

Every time you try to outlaw DEI, I celebrate the diversity in my community and support institutions and businesses who do the same.

Every time you try to erase Black history and silence Black voices, I lift up the voices of Black leaders so we can’t be ignored.

And every time you try to cheat the rules and twist our democracy into something ugly, I recommit to holding you accountable and DEFENDING our democracy.

I won’t let you ruin America. We will not go quietly into the night, we will fight and scream and resist every step of the way.
