Africa & Europe
Last week, we asked for prayer for our Kenya team as they sought accountability for the police commanders accused of overseeing officers who committed violence during Kenya's 2017 post-election unrest, including the killing of six-month-old Baby Pendo. Sadly, this week the prosecution dropped charges against eight of the officers and will only proceed with four. Though this decision is disheartening, IJM and our partners remain committed to pursuing justice for the victims and families. Please pray for our team as we discern next steps, for the protection of witnesses and survivors, and for strength and perseverance for those still waiting for justice—especially Baby Pendo’s mother. We continue to trust that God sees, hears and stands with them. Pray with us that justice will
come swiftly.
Latin America
Please pray for the upcoming launch of an important resource, the Guide for an Integral Approach to Investigations of Sexual Violence in Colombia. Developed by IJM and the Colombian Institute of Forensic Medicine, this guide will equip health care professionals with tools to improve care for survivors of violence and strengthen criminal investigations. Pray that the event will be successful and that the guide will make a meaningful difference in the lives of survivors.
South Asia
Please pray for peace amid escalating tension and military operations in South Asia. IJM staff, partners and survivors remain safe, but the political atmosphere is quite tense. Pray for swift resolutions and lasting peace.

an article published by Christianity Today shining a light on forced scamming in countries like Myanmar and Thailand, where thousands of victims are estimated to be trapped in cyber scam centers. Please pray that more people will become aware of this injustice and feel compelled to join the mission to end it. Pray also for continued rescue efforts, healing for survivors and justice for those responsible.
