Dear John,

On Wednesday, May 14th, the five Chiefs of the Wabanaki Nations will deliver a State of the Tribes Address before the Maine Legislature and speak to the issues facing their Nations. Maine Conservation Voters and many of our partners will join the Wabanaki Alliance at the State House to stand in solidarity and advocate for a number of Wabanaki Alliance-sponsored bills. We invite you to stand with us!

State of the Tribes Address and Wabanaki Alliance Lobby Day

Maine State House, Augusta

Wednesday, May 14 | 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

REGISTER HERE

We'll gather at the State House for a quick training, head upstairs to talk with legislators, and then stay to listen to the State of the Tribes Address. If you plan to attend, please use the registration link so the Wabanaki Alliance can be in touch with more details before the day. If you cannot make it, please stay tuned for other opportunities to support Wabanaki sovereignty later this session, and make sure you're subscribed to get updates from the Wabanaki Alliance.

We hope you can join us for a day of advocacy and community.

In solidarity,

Maggie Somers | she/her/hers
