Our nation is in turmoil.
As millions across the country are demanding policing reforms and increased accountability, Donald Trump and his Republican enablers are rushing to delegitimize the need for reform and condemn the protestors and their rightful outrage about anti-Black police violence.
If you have a sinking feeling of déjà vu, it's Trump's 2016 playbook all over again.
In 2016 when the country was reeling from anti-Black police violence, then candidate Donald Trump sought to increase division within the country by lambasting former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and other players for kneeling during the national anthem to protest the anti-Black violence.
And rather than trying to unite the nation now that he's president, Trump only seeks to sow MORE division, MORE fear, MORE hate.
PFAW, along with so many others like you, is doing everything we can to REJECT HATE at the polls.
As we continue increasing our presence in key states across the country, we are falling $199,045 behind our mid-year goal for June and at this moment we cannot afford to scale back and risk giving Republicans an opportunity to convince voters to give Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell's majority another term in office.
Your 2020 membership renewal will boost our efforts to unseat Trump by helping us continue organizing in key battleground states, mobilizing the voters and virtual volunteers who are key to progressive victory, and employing the latest in our suite of digital tools and targeted media delivery to get out the progressive vote.
Without your support this year, we will have to scale back operations in our key target states, which could spell disaster to our chances of flipping the Senate and ending Trump’s presidency.
