Email from Finchem for AZ Senate She has zero transparency Hello John, You won’t believe this - or maybe you will. Governor Katie Hobbs just vetoed a bill that would’ve exposed political corruption and forced her own donors into the light. Why? Because the bill hit too close to home. Senate Bill 1612, a commonsense transparency bill, would’ve required any company applying for a state contract or grant to disclose political donations made to the governor or affiliated groups. It was designed to prevent the exact kind of shady backroom deals Hobbs has already been caught facilitating. Instead of signing it, she shut it down with a one-sentence veto letter - no explanation, no accountability. Because she knows she’s guilty. One of Hobbs' biggest donors - a group home operator - received a nearly 60% pay increase on a state contract after launching a six-figure political spending campaign to benefit her. And now, she’s using her veto power to bury the evidence and protect the money trail. This is corruption. Period. While Hobbs talks about “transparency,” she’s cutting sweetheart deals behind closed doors and vetoing good-government bills meant to keep her honest. Enough is enough. I ran for the Arizona Senate to fight back against this kind of rot - and now more than ever, I need your help to keep doing it. If you will help me expose Hobbs and drain the swamp in Arizona, please send anything you can afford, whether it be $5, $15, $25, $55, $75, or more. Every dollar you give will help me fight for REAL transparency in state government. Hobbs just reminded us that her loyalty lies with her donors, not the people of Arizona. Let’s remind her who this state really belongs to. God Bless, Mark Finchem Arizona Senator LD1 Conservative “Election Integrity” Patriot P.S. Arizona DEFINITELY has corruption problems.
