Bill to expand clean energy passes State House - Send a thank you note to your State Rep for supporting it!
Hi Friend,
Great news! The PA State House passed a bill that would let homeowners, schools, hospitals, and small businesses switch over to solar energy that’s generated locally at a community solar hub. It’s like having a solar panel on your roof — without the cost of installation!
Increasing solar energy will lower energy bills, cut emissions and pollution, and support local jobs.
Pennsylvania only gets 4% of our energy from clean sources like solar and wind! The Community Energy bill will help bring more clean energy online at a time when there’s a greater demand for power than ever before.
Community Energy will especially help renters, folks who lack the time or resources to invest in solar projects, or those with homes that aren’t suitable for solar.
Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to protecting Pennsylvania’s environment. Together, we can make affordable, renewable energy accessible for everyone!
