Trump tanked the stock market with a reckless tariff announcement, only to walk it back a week later and send stocks soaring. In between? Some members of Congress made moves that would make Wall Street proud.

One of them was Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who dumped Treasury bills and dropped as much as $300,000 into stocks like Amazon, Tesla, and JPMorgan, right before the market rallied. The public deserves answers on what she knew, but more than that, we need laws to make this corruption illegal.

It’s time to rein in the corruption. Fortunately, a bipartisan coalition led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has introduced the Bipartisan Restoring Faith in Government Act, which would BAN members of Congress, their spouses, and dependents from trading individual stocks.

Let’s be clear: if this bill doesn’t pass, it’s because too many members of Congress want to keep the grift going. So help us make sure they hear loud and clear that the corruption stops here.

This bill is even backed by Republicans like Josh Hawley and Cory Mills. Why? Because the American people are sick of the grift. Nearly 9 in 10 voters across party lines support a ban.

This is one of the few areas where the entire country agrees: Congress should regulate Wall Street, not profit from it.
