Britt unveils legislation to audit Biden admin's handling of religious
exemptions related to COVID-19 vaccine mandate for troops

U.S. Sen. Katie Britt joined U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Rick Scott
(R-Fla.) and Mike Lee (R-Utah) in introducing the Reaffirming Every
Servicemember’s Trust Over Religious Exemptions (RESTORE) Act on Thursday.
The legislation would require the Department of Defense (DoD) to establish a
special review board to audit the service-wide handling of religious
accommodation requests related to the COVID-19 vaccine mandate during the Biden
administration. The board would be charged with identifying those who were
unjustly penalized and correcting the career and personnel records of affected
service members, according to Britt's office.

More than 4 million youth and young-adult families face homelessness,
statistics show, prompting rare bipartisan action in Congress to expand federal
support and address the growing crisis.
Sens. Angela Alsobrooks, D-Md., and Katie Britt, will introduce the Homeless
Children & Youth Act on Wednesday, which is the former’s first piece of major
bipartisan legislation in her short tenure since being sworn-in in January.
Officials must ensure that children experiencing homelessness can get the
support they need to exit that situation for good, Alsobrooks told Fox News
