Like clockwork, National Republicans have launched a fresh wave of attacks against me this week. It feels like there’s a new smear every single day.
We always knew I would be a top target now that I represent a Trump district, but I didn’t expect the onslaught to be this relentless. It’s a reminder of how messed up our politics have gotten.
Ultimately, I see it as a sign of desperation. Republicans can’t run on how their policies help people (quite the opposite!) so they have to attack us vulnerable Democrats.
Well, I for one am not taking the bait. I’m not going to back down from fighting back against Donald Trump’s reprehensible actions. I truly believe we are in a make-or-break moment for our country. Republicans can attack me all they want, I will not stop speaking out.
I need to show them we’re still in this fight — and that we won’t be silenced by their fear tactics. But I can’t do it without your help.
