Hi John,

Let's face it- we have a LOT of problems here in Arizona.

The AZ Senate is on the job- we pass solution after solution but we need YOUR support to make them into law! ([link removed])

Right now, our biggest problems are illegals, and corruption. Sometimes that corruption comes in the form of election fraud. Sometimes it comes in the form of cartels buying off American politicians. Sometimes it's elected leaders not doing their job.

Recently, the AZ legislature passed a bill requiring transparency in situations where a donor is granted state work.... those are the "pay for play" situations.

Gov. Hobbs vetoed it, in a move that even the leftist Arizona Republic attacked her for!

Gov. Katie Hobbs gets a $100,000 donation to her inauguration fund, and the donor gets a massive pay boost in its state contract?

Sure, that didn't smell very much.

In response, the Legislature passes a bill requiring more transparency of such sweetheart deals, and Hobbs vetoes it?

OK, yeah. The whole thing stinks.

You may recall Arizona Republic reporter Stacey Barchenger’s report last June on a group home operator throwing a six-figure donation to Hobbs’ inauguration fund and — just coincidentally, I’m sure — snagging close to a 60% increase in its daily rate on a state contracts.

Hobbs shook down insurance companies, labor unions, homebuilders, lobbying firms and regulated utilities, seeking donations of up to $250,000 apiece.

It appears Sunshine Residential’s $100,000 donation to Hobbs’ inaugural account — along with another $100,000 to the state Democratic Party, to go along with $200,000 donated while Hobbs was running for governor — paid off.

Over the course of the next year, Sunshine Residential got a nearly 60% rate increase in its state contract to house children in the custody of Department of Child Safety, worth potentially millions of dollars.

Senate Bill 1612 would have required any company seeking a state contract or grant to disclose anything of value it donated to the sitting governor or to groups set up to benefit the governor during the previous five years.

Clearly, Arizona has MORE work to do to root out corruption.

We also have work to do, to help ICE deport illegals. Hundreds of thousands have invaded Arizona, and we need them gone- back to the country they are a citizen of.

We have passed the AZ ICE Act to stop localities from being "sanctuary cities". But Hobbs vetoed it.

Why was that Act so important?

Because, aside from President Trump, the Federal government can be a shaky partner. While President Trump is rock-solid, of course, the judiciary and Congress have NOT been.

Leftist judges have claimed, for the first time, that illegals get all the due process that American citizens get! That has NEVER been the case, but these judges are off the rails!

Congress is also unreliable, refusing to partner up with President Trump to make deporting the illegals easier!

THAT is why we in the AZ Senate MUST keep fighting. Sometimes we are the only ones pushing to solve the problems Arizona faces.

Recently, your donations helped us score a BIG legal victory against California!

The Communists in California had passed an insane law that mandated that any truck carrying goods into or out of California HAD to be an electric truck (ie, no gas).

It was insane and outrageous and predatory against Arizona businesses. The Democrat AG of Arizona refused to stand up against California's madness- so the GOP State Senate DID.

We sued them- and we WON. We stood up against California! THAT is what your donations can help us do.

You have helped us do SO much these days, even as we struggle against the extreme leftists in Arizona's executive branch.

We have passed solution after solution, but the Dem Governor only wants these problems to get WORSE. If we stop fighting, Arizona will be like California. To stop that, I MUST keep working hard to do what Arizona needs done. ([link removed])

We stopped California in court. To keep going, we must keep fighting. Help me fight for Arizona, for America, and for YOU! ([link removed])

God bless Arizona, and God bless America!
