First, I was honored when VP Harris mentioned that she’d been inspired by my advocacy in Congress and for what I’ve done to stand up for our democracy:

But then, Donald Trump did what he does best: bully those who dare stand up to him with petty insults and personal slights.

So in a world full of Donald Trumps, I’ll choose to be a Kamala Harris each and every time — and I know you will too.

I refuse to let this insecure bully use his power and platform to scare me into silence.

Instead, I’ll follow in the footsteps of Vice President Harris and continue to do the work needed to defend our democracy, the rule of law, and the American people from Trump’s extreme agenda.
