John -
Let's make this simple: we need to take bold steps to end the plague of institutional racism in policing.

We need to take action nationwide.

And we need it now.

My colleagues, Congresswomen Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, Barbara Lee, and Karen Bass have introduced a resolution condemning police brutality; it's an important step in building the coalition we'll need to pass the overarching reform we're fighting for.

Take a moment to add your name and write a letter asking your Congressional Representative to co-sponsor this resolution.

This won't be easy, John. Institutional racism is buried deep in American culture, and the defenders of white supremacy will fight the change with everything they've got.

But we're at a crucial juncture - a time when folks of all ages, races, genders, political beliefs, sexual orientations are marching together to fight for equity in our country.

We've got to seize the moment.

Please follow this link to send a letter to your Congressperson, John. It takes about 2 minutes start to finish, but could spur changes that last for generations.

Courage,

Earl
