Dear Friend,

I’m writing to you today because a Soros-funded prosecutor is trying to lock my police officer husband up for the next 11 years for saving a fellow officer’s life.  

And your petition to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi is my last chance to save my family from being torn apart. 

This is a picture of Brad with our two boys. To them, he’s not just their dad – he's their hero. 

Friend, in 10 years as an officer with the Las Cruces Police Department, my husband had never fired his service weapon in the line of duty.  

But when his partner was lying stunned on the pavement – and the robbery suspect who knocked him down and tried to take his service weapon was aiming the officer’s stolen taser right at him... 

...Brad knew he had no choice.  

He drew his pistol and fired a single shot, killing the suspect and saving his partner’s life.  

When Brad got home and told me what happened, I couldn’t stop crying.  

I was so grateful he was alive.  

And when an Internal Investigation and the local District Attorney cleared Brad of any wrongdoing, I thought this awful episode was behind us.  

I couldn’t have been more wrong.  

Because more than a year after the incident, the New Mexico Attorney General, Raul Torrez, charged my husband with Voluntary Manslaughter! 

You see, Raul Torrez is an out-of-control prosecutor who hates the police. His campaign was funded by leftist billionaire George Soros.  

And he’s determined to make a name for himself by destroying Brad.  

He even held a press conference and turned the microphone over to the suspect’s family so they could spread hateful lies about my husband, smearing him as a “racist” and a “cold-blooded killer.” 

It only got worse at the trial.  

And when the jury declared my husband guilty and Brad was led off to jail, I felt like our lives were over.  

But my heartbreak turned into rage when I found out two details weeks after the trial ended:  

#1. During the trial, the judge accidentally dismissed two jurors Brad’s legal team had chosen during jury selection, replacing them with alternates.  

#2. The foreman of the jury was secretly an outspoken anti-police activist.  

Friend, this foreman is a member of a radical anti-police group. They even participated in anti-police protests.  

And during jury selection, they failed to disclose any of this.  

In a sane world, this should have been enough to force Raul Torrez to request a re-trial – or drop the case completely.  

But that’s not the world we live in.  

Instead, he’s fighting all the way to the New Mexico Supreme Court to protect this lying juror and keep my husband’s unjust conviction in place.  

That’s why I’m asking you to sign the petition to Attorney General Pam Bondi. 

Because if it wasn’t clear before, it is now... 

This was never about justice.  

It’s a politicized witch hunt of an innocent man just because he wore a badge.  

President Trump calls it “lawfare.” 

And the only way to put a stop to it is good people like you standing up for my husband and saying, “NO MORE!” 

By signing your petition, you’re asking President Trump’s Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to open an investigation into Raul Torrez’s lawfare against my husband.

Because my husband doesn’t deserve this. He’s an honorable man who wanted nothing more than to serve his country and his community. 

That’s why he served for 3 years in the Army as a cavalry scout. And it’s why he served for 10 years as a police officer.  

But more than that, he’s a wonderful husband and an incredible father to our 9- and 6-year-old sons.  

We’ve tried to explain to our boys as best we can about what’s going on.  

But they’re too young to fully understand.  

And I can’t bear to think of what it will do to them if they’re forced to grow up with him behind bars.  

But that’s exactly what will happen if Raul Torrez gets his way.  

For a long time, stopping this witch hunt seemed impossible.  

But thank God, we got a call from Jason Johnson.  

Jason is a retired police officer – and he’s the President of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF).
