John — Right now, Republican members of Congress are hiding from their constituents.
If they continue to refuse to show up and explain their support for Donald Trump’s extremist agenda, Democrats must work to explain to as many people as possible why we need to vote out those Republicans.
Jake is running for Congress because he believes that showing up should be the bare minimum expected out of our leaders. That’s why a key part of his campaign is pledging to hold an in-person, in-district town hall meeting every month he’s in Congress.
He’ll always make sure that everyone in his district has access to him in a way that’s convenient for them — because for too long, the people in California’s 32nd Congressional District haven’t had a present leader.
Jake’s opponent admitted that he didn’t host an in-person town hall for over five years. A lot has happened since then, John — including the COVID-19 pandemic that destroyed countless lives and wildfires that ravaged communities across California.
While he refused to hold an in-person town hall, he held telephone town halls instead so he could stay in his $2.1 million home in Washington rather than come to the district.
Leaders should be expected to show up and be present in their communities. That’s why Jake promises that, whether someone voted for him or not, he’ll always show up in person and be there for every single person in CA-32. Will you pitch in to help send Jake to Congress to usher in a new era of leadership for our district?
