Dear NRDC Action Fund Supporter,
The attacks on our public lands just keep coming. In the past few weeks alone:
- President Trump released a dangerous, legally dubious plan that would bypass environmental protections to rush through dirty drilling and mining projects
- The House of Representatives moved forward with a budget bill that would sell off up to 500,000 acres of public lands in Utah and Nevada to finance tax cuts for billionaires
- The Trump administration issued a draft budget that further supports fossil fuel CEOs and opens a new front in the worst White House assault ever on the environment and public health
If they get their way, we could see drilling and mining on iconic wildlands and offshore drilling across our coasts, pay-to-play schemes that rubber stamp destructive fossil fuel projects, and countless catastrophic environmental and health impacts.
America’s public lands and national parks are not for sale. I’m prepared to stand up against these dire threats to our shared lands and waters. Are you?
Join our May Activist Call to hear about our plan to defend America’s public lands, waters, monuments, and national parks — and how you can be part of this fight.

We’ll give you the tools you need to reach out to voters in key districts across the country to put pressure on their representatives to protect public lands.
You’ll hear straight from our experts about how public lands have been made a bargaining chip in the current Congressional budget fight. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions.
These attacks on our public lands aren’t just short-sighted — they’re out of step with the overwhelming public support for protecting the public lands we all treasure. Join me in fighting back.
In solidarity,
Jacob Jones
