As you know, Mother’s Day is coming up this weekend. We consider ourselves lucky to have such a hard-working, kind, and determined mom. She reminds us to hold onto hope and optimism –advice that couldn’t be more critical as things feel hopeless with the GOP trifecta in Washington. But through it all, knowing Mom is there using her strong, loud voice in opposition is what keeps our hope ignited.

Mom always made sure that our birthdays, holidays, and all our special events were filled with joy and laughter. She has always made time for us even though she’s juggling being a mom, grandmother, congresswoman, and leader. We’re so grateful for the sense of service she instilled in us – and now in our children.
