 ✊ 2nd Annual NorCal Affordable Housing Supplier Diversity Summit

The deadline to register for the 2nd Annual NorCal Affordable Housing Supplier Diversity Summit is Monday, May 12 at 12PM!

Join us alongside Swinerton on Thursday, May 15 from 12-4PM at City View at The Metreon in San Francisco for an exciting, educational networking event focused on Assembly Bill 2873, which promotes diversity within affordable housing suppliers. This event will bring a deeper understanding of the spirit of AB 2873 while providing an opportunity to connect small, local, and diverse suppliers looking for contracting opportunities.

Affordable housing developers, general contractors, architects, affinity groups, advocates, and small/local/diverse vendors are encouraged to attend. After the program, a networking reception (2-4PM) will offer drinks, hors 'd'oeuvres, and Motown jams with DJ Malachi.

 📖 Hope & Home Training Series

NPH’s year-long public information campaign, Begins with Home, reached over half a million Bay Area residents and increased voter support for affordable housing solutions. Now, you can hear all the field-tested strategies and successful communications tactics to incorporate into your work! An upcoming NPH Training series will dive into these proven approaches to advancing housing justice in our region:

• Join us remotely on Wednesday, May 14 from 12-1PM for Hope & Home: Key Lessons & Application for this Moment (Part 1), to learn how we increased public support for housing solutions and what it means for all of us working to win change in the Bay!

• Then join us remotely on Wednesday, May 28 from 12-1PM for Hope & Home: Actionable Insights from Recent Research (Part 2), to hear about what works to change voter mindsets and behavior about affordable housing in the Bay Area.

 🏘️ May Is Affordable Housing Month!

Each May, NPH works with our regional partners throughout the Bay Area to celebrate Affordable Housing Month, an opportunity to uplift transformative housing solutions and the affordable future that we know is possible for all our neighbors and communities!

This year, we’re exploring the theme “Love Begins with Home”, because when our communities are under threat, it’s up to us to lift our voices together. Join us in coming together to show our support for the right of all our neighbors to stay, live, and thrive in the Bay Area. Participation is easy: check out and share the following inspiring graphics, videos, and more:

🏙️ Attend a Local Event Throughout May, housing advocates and allies across the Bay Area are joining together through a series of events, including interactive discussions, affordable housing grand openings and groundbreakings, art shows, and more!
