The U.S. Attorney General, Pam Bondi, is ignoring her oath to support and defend the Constitution and is instead behaving like Donald Trump’s personal attorney.

It’s blatant corruption, and Dave is fighting back. He’s made headlines for calling on the Florida Bar to investigate Bondi, but that’s not the only thing he’s doing.

As The American Prospect notes, he is also bringing public scrutiny to the outrageous pro bono agreements that law firms have entered into with Trump, has worked to strip huge giveaways to Big Oil out of House legislation, and is rallying his colleagues on the House floor to speak up against the Trump administration’s blatant violations of federal law.

Some people are wondering: Since Dave represents one of the toughest seats in all of Congress, why would he risk speaking out and boldly standing up to the Trump administration? Well, here’s what he had to say about that:

“‘I don’t think my voters want me to be moderate or cautious in defending democracy or the Constitution,’ he told the Prospect. ‘These are things that we should all be defending with everything we have.’”
