The U.S. Supreme Court just allowed the Trump administration to start enforcing its cruel ban on transgender people in the military while court cases continue.
Even a Bush-appointed judge said there's no military reason to ban transgender troops—they're being discharged “solely because [they are] transgender.”
Adding insult to injury, the Court announced their decision without giving any reasoning. This is an extreme, far-right Supreme Court acting as a rubber-stamp for bigotry and discrimination without even the window dressing of rationale.
Transgender Americans deserve better than this, John. We all do.
