Full-day Derby Road closure this Sunday

A section of Derby Road between St Barnbas Cathedral and the new junction at Maid Marian Way will be completely closed northbound on Sunday (11 May) from 6am to 5pm while our teams work to install kerbs on the east side – see map above.

A diversion will be in place taking drivers via Maid Marian Way, Castle Boulevard and back to Derby Road.

Park-and-ride to shut for racecourse Ladies Day

Just a reminder that the Colwick park-and-ride site will be closed tomorrow (10 May) as it's Ladies Day at Nottingham Racecourse

Further QMC roundabout closures coming up

National Highways have announced the latest phase of works which will close the QMC roundabout next weekend.

The next full weekend closures will take place from 8pm on Friday 16 May to 6am on Monday 19 May.

The following roads will be shut:


* A52 eastbound from Priory roundabout to QMC roundabout
* QMC roundabout between the A6514 Middleton Boulevard northbound entry slip road and the A6514 Middleton Boulevard southbound exit slip road
* The A6514 Middleton Boulevard northbound entry slip road

Access for residents to and from Adams Hill and Oundle Drive will be provided by National Highways' on-site traffic management team.
