Hey there! Looking for a change of pace from the regular doom-and-gloom of the last several months? Here's some optimistic news for you.
After his catastrophic first 100 days in office, Dear Leader’s popularity is cratering.
A recent flurry of high-quality polls laid it all out in black and white.
➤ Donald Trump officially has the lowest 100-day approval rating of any modern U.S. president.
➤ 45% of respondents would give the president an “F” grade for his first 100 days in office. (NPR/PBS News/Marist)
➤ 66% would describe Trump’s second term in office as “chaotic,” while 59% said they’d describe it as “scary.” (New York Times/Siena College)
➤ 59% of respondents said that Trump’s policies have harmed the U.S. economy. (CNN)
Unfortunately, my cowardly colleagues on Capitol Hill will never admit that their emperor has no clothes, or that all of their woes are entirely Trump-inflicted.
But make no mistake: Americans are wising up to his real agenda. Trump is being backed into a corner. He’s desperate, flailing, and vulnerable to making mistakes.
It would be madness not to seize this moment. That’s what I’ve been doing for weeks on the House floor, at my red-district town halls, and in TV, radio, podcast, and print interviews. And I'll be that much more effective with your support.
So, if you’re able, pitch in $15 to fund our comms strategy and elect tough-as-nails leaders prepared to take on this failed president.
