The Republican budget puts working people last.
John, House Republicans are in the process of writing their budget, and it’s not pretty.
Here’s just some of what’s in the MAGA budget:
- Huge cuts to student loan programs that will make borrowing even more expensive for students
- Massive new Pentagon spending and $45 billion for immigration detention centers, including “family detention centers”
- Winding down Wall Street oversight
- Large potential cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, and other critical programs
- Enormous tax cuts for giant corporations and the mega-wealthy
We need to mobilize our movement and make it clear to Republicans that there will be a political price to pay for supporting this regressive, billionaire-first agenda — and we’re counting on your support to do it.
