e and discipline, telling me my work ethic would open doors far beyond the =

So I was stunned when college administrators disregarded those same standar=
ds and instead celebrated my male teammate=E2=80=94who had ranked in the 40=
0s and 500s nationally on the men=E2=80=99s team=E2=80=94as =E2=80=9Cbrave=
=E2=80=9D and =E2=80=9Cheroic=E2=80=9D for switching to the women=E2=80=99s=
team, where he instantly became one of the top-ranked =E2=80=9Cfemale=E2=
