John,

My team emailed you a couple weeks ago about incorrect guidance Betsy DeVos and Elsie Arntzen are using to distribute much-needed coronavirus relief aid to Montana schools.

Reminder: Rather than distributing the funds to ensure the children in the most need are prioritized, they are letting private schools take a larger share of the aid than Congress intended.

Now: New analysis from the Learning Policy Institute shows Montana's public schools are set to receive $3 million less under these discriminatory guidelines than they would have if DeVos and Arntzen were to distribute the funds the correct way.

We should be distributing aid to schools that serve all children regardless of their zip code, not religious, private schools.

This is not leading, and it certainly isn't putting Montana's students and schools first - it's putting them dead last.

The best way to restore leadership to the Office of Public Instruction is to replace Elsie Arntzen in November. Will you join our campaign today and make sure she only serves one term as our state superintendent?
Thank you for your support, we couldn't do this without you.
P.S. I know times are hard for many of us and I understand if you can't donate right now. I hope you'll continue following my campaign while you take care of yourself and your family and ultimately vote for me come November.
