🚨 Trump is ramping up his attacks – but Democratic governors are NOT backing down! 🚨 

From suing Trump, to blocking his dangerous orders, to passing policies that make things better for working families in the states – Democratic governors are leading the fight to protect our freedoms.

Here's a look at just some of the extreme actions Trump has taken, and how Democratic governors and the DGA are fighting back:

ON FIGHTING FOR PUBLIC HEALTH
FIRST: Elon’s DOGE cut over eleven billion dollars to health departments around the country.

THEN: Gov. Andy Beshear spoke up and joined a lawsuit to ensure progress continued on the opioid crisis and critical mental health services in Kentucky.

   

ON STANDING UP FOR OUR KIDS
FIRST: Trump revoked $185 million owed to Pennsylvania school districts.

THEN: Gov. Josh Shapiro joined a lawsuit to challenge Trump and ensure the federal government honors its obligations to critical initiatives to help students learn. As a result of this legal action, this funding is now unfrozen.

   

ON STANDING UP FOR STUDENTS
FIRST: Trump withheld federal funding from Maine because Gov. Janet Mills wouldn’t follow his personal demands.

THEN: Gov. Janet Mills fought Trump in court – and last week she broke the news that she won!

   

ON ELECTING DEMOCRATIC GOVERNORS
FIRST: Trump’s approval rating collapsed. But his MAGA allies are pouring money into the governors’ races in Virginia and New Jersey this fall.

THEN: The DGA launched early investments in these critical races to elect two new Dem govs, protect our blue firewall, mobilize grassroots support and stop the MAGA agenda in its tracks.

NOW: Winning in VA and NJ isn’t optional, team. These contests are the first electoral challenges of Trump’s administration. It’s the front line of the fight for democracy. If we win these seats, we send a message heading into 2026: Dem govs will NOT bow to the MAGA agenda.
