Sunday, nine Minneapolis City Council members joined a call for the city to defund and dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department.

Speaking during a rally, which was hosted by two groups that promote community-led policing, nine council members put their backing behind the major change that has been pushed in the days following the death of George Floyd while in the custody of Minneapolis police.



Are these people insane? Consider the effect of such a proposal:

Rape victims with no relief.

Murders gone unsolved.

Businesses looted with not fear of repercussion.

Violent criminals allowed to go free.

Drug gangs, dealers, and cartels will rule with impunity as they do in Mexico.

Our borders would be overrun with illegal immigrants in no time.

Here in Arizona, on the front lines against Mexican drug cartels and illegal immigrants, we would be particularly hard hit. The truth is, we owe so much to our police, first responders, and soldiers. They do a thankless and dangerous job to protect us from danger.

It is extremely infuriating to see these radical leftists attempt to defame and destroy good and honorable men and women who serve in law enforcement. We are America because of our laws; our laws mean nothing if they are not enforced.

Enough is enough. I pledge to you now, I will not let the radicals chase away the heroes who protect our communities from harm.

Don't let the bad apples destroy hundreds of years of tradition and respect gained from our great law enforcement. 99% of police officers are good people who put their lives on the line for us daily!

President Trump is clearly fighting for us and for law and order, but WE NEED TO FIGHT here also!
