Dear John,
Mother’s Day is on Sunday and we suggest getting Mom what she wants most: the fundamental freedom to vote.

The SAVE Act is currently being considered by the US Senate. It’s a voter suppression bill, pure and simple. It would require voters to produce one from an extremely narrow list of documents to prove US citizenship in order to claim our most fundamental freedom to vote.
An estimated 80% of women change their last names when they get married or divorced, meaning their ID might not match the name on their birth certificate. That means more than 60 million women would have a very difficult time registering to vote or changing their registration if the SAVE Act became law.
This Mother’s Day, stand up for the moms! (And all the other millions of people who could lose their right to vote under the SAVE Act.)
Send a message to your Senators asking them to STOP the SAVE Act — and protect our voting rights. >> [link removed]
In solidarity,
Lauren Kunis
CEO and Executive Director (and mom!)
