The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office confirmed what we already
knew:

[ [link removed] ]The Hill: CBO: Millions of people could lose insurance under GOP
Medicaid options

MAGA Republicans are on track to rip health care coverage away from
millions of Americans — all to appease Trump and give more tax breaks to
his billionaire friends.

It’s cruel. It’s devastating. And in Delaware, the impact would be
enormous. Medicaid covers over 249,000 people, including nearly half of
all kids in our state.

But we still have time to stop it.

Every dollar helps me respond, organize, and defend the care families rely
on.

Here’s the good news:

Some Republicans are starting to show hesitation. Dozens of GOP members
signed a letter saying they won’t support reductions in Medicaid coverage
for vulnerable populations. That means they’re feeling the pressure.

So I’m doubling down.

This week, I became the second Democrat to sign the Hands Off Medicaid and
SNAP Act — a bill to protect these life-saving programs from cuts. And if
Republicans truly mean what they say, they should sign it, too.

We can protect Medicaid, but only if we act fast, speak up, and make it
impossible for anyone to look away.

[ [link removed] ]I’ll never stop fighting to protect the care families count
on. But I need you with
me. So please, pitch in $5 or anything you can right now.
