Our fundraising results just came in, and I’ll cut to the chase. If you contributed, you can be proud to have helped us raise an unbelievable quarter of a million dollars in just the last two months.
That’s a far cry from my old 2018 campaign, when I raised a grand total of $60K for the whole race from start to finish!
Of course, money isn’t everything. That’s why we’re also proud to have trained nearly 1,000 phone banking volunteers, who together are making thousands of voter calls every week.
With Bernie Sanders having suspended his campaign, many of his strongest team members are joining us for the next step forward: data whiz Shanti Singh, field organizers Antonio Cruz and Adiba Khan, and more. We’re also hired Joshua Alvarez, who came to us having organized with the Sunrise Movement.
Our campaign has also been endorsed by a few names you just might know: presidential candidates Mike Gravel, Marianne Williamson, and Lawrence Lessig; Democratic Socialists of America chapters in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Ventura County; Our Revolution chapters in San Francisco, the East Bay, North Bay, and Minneapolis, MN; Progressive Democrats of America-SF; the SF Tenants Union; and the Left Flank Vets. And, of course, we’ve appeared on podcasts and livestreams with Krystal Ball, Rania Khalek, and Matt Taibbi and Katie Halper, to name a few.

All this is to say that for an insurgent campaign with a once-unknown candidate, policy positions that used to be considered far out of the mainstream, and little mainstream media coverage, we’re doing phenomenally well.
