It's Teacher Appreciation Week, and I wanted to ask you a favor:

As a mom, I know that every child in Delaware deserves an excellent education with first-rate public schools – no matter where they live or who their parents are.

And this starts with supporting our educators with better pay, safer work environments, and due respect in their fields.

That's why I've worked hard with other Senate Democrats to ensure that our teachers have the resources to succeed and ensure our kids have the opportunity to quality education.

And right now, public schools are under attack by the Trump administration, so it's more important than ever to stand with educators and give them the tools they need to thrive.
