The people deserve and demand representatives in Congress who are
committed to working in close partnership with community.
That is why I’m proud to endorse six more transformative leaders in their
races for Congress. They are incumbents and candidates from across the
country who are working for real change:
Lucy McBath, candidate for re-election, GA-6
Cindy Axne, candidate for re-election, IA-03
Jahana Hayes, candidate for re-election, CT-05
Andy Levin, candidate for re-election, MI-09
Dr. Arati Kreibich, candidate for election, NJ-05
Jackie Gordon, candidate for election, NY-02

who are working to achieve true progressive change for our country and our

Lucy McBath has devoted herself to the Work of lifting up community —
courageously sharing her own family’s story and leading efforts to prevent
gun violence, fighting to expand access to healthcare, and advocating
effectively for students, workers, and families.
Since Cindy Axne and I arrived in Congress together, Cindy has been
fighting tirelessly for the families and communities of Iowa’s 3rd
district. I’m proud to call Cindy my Congressional classmate and my
colleague on the House Financial Services Committee, and I’m so glad to
endorse her for re-election.
Every day since Jahana Hayes’ history-making campaign in 2018, her
leadership in Congress has been grounded in her own life story, her
experience as an educator, and her close connection to the communities she
represents. Jahana’s principled advocacy is vital.
Andy Levin has fought for the rights of women, advocated for housing
justice, worked to build a more equitable economy, and stood up against
the cruel policies of this White House. Andy’s service is defined by a
fierce commitment to the people he represents in Michigan’s 9th District,
and an indefatigable work ethic to strengthen and support all of our
communities.
An immigrant, a scientist, and a mother, Arati Kreibich is ready to step
up and provide real leadership for the people of the New Jersey 5th. She
is ready to help our communities recover from this crisis, and to advance
bold solutions like Medicare for All and the Green New Deal.
Jackie Gordon is an immigrant, a veteran, an educator, a mother, and an
effective leader. Drawing on her lived experience and her close connection
to community, Jackie will be a bold advocate on issues of consequence to
the people of New York’s 2nd district, from health care to education to
gun violence.
The American people deserve leaders who fight tirelessly for racial
justice, to build an economy that works for everyone, protect the rights
of women, workers, immigrants, and the LGBTQ+ community, end the student
debt crisis, and more.
Each one of these proven leaders is committed to working for justice and
equity. I’m proud to support my colleagues and these candidates, and look
forward to working with all of them to achieve progress.

movement to continue to building our collective power.
Thank you for supporting these six leaders today.
