On April 5th, our College Success Team hosted Picture Your Perfect Career Day, an empowering event designed to help our college students explore and take steps toward their dream careers. Students were matched with top professionals from a wide range of industries who offered personalized guidance and encouragement. |

The day featured LinkedIn seminars, resume refresh sessions, and meaningful one-on-one conversations that helped students build confidence and professional connections. Thanks to the support and mentorship they received, many students left with clearer goals—and some even secured internships and mentorships to kickstart their journey. |

"At Picture Your Perfect Career Day, I was able to connect with a recruiter from a company I applied to for a summer internship. By meeting the recruiter in person, I was able to delve deeper into why I was interested in the company and the position, which helped me secure a first-round interview. Additionally, I received valuable tips from the recruiter on how to navigate the interviews. First-round interviews have been more challenging for me to obtain, but being able to connect with a recruiter was extremely helpful in securing interviews."

 We're still buzzing from the incredible experience we had with our high school students during our Northern California College Tour. Over the course of our three-day trip, we took 45 students to visit seven campuses, including UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, UC Santa Cruz, UC Berkeley, Stanford, UC Davis, and UC Merced!  The Heart Behind Career Day: Our Incredible Volunteers
NOW Academy’s Career Day gave high school students a glimpse into their futures with guest speakers from fields like healthcare, animation, entertainment, and so much more! A dynamic panel and interactive classroom sessions helped students explore real-world careers and ask meaningful questions. It was a day full of inspiration, genuine conversations, and exciting “aha” moments as students began to see real paths toward the careers they dream about.
