** Stop Trump's War Parade Now!

Donald Trump, a man who dreams of ruling like a dictator, is planning a $100+ million, four-mile-long military parade to be held in his honor to celebrate his 79th birthday.
Other “strong men” who held military parades to celebrate their birthdays include Kim Jong Un, Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein.
The Pentagon is now coordinating with the White House and discussions are already underway to plan a huge military spectacle later this summer.
Tanks rolling through the streets, fighter jets roaring overhead. Rows of heavily armed soldiers marching in lockstep -- not to honor the nation, but to celebrate the birthday of one man. This isn’t patriotism. It’s political theater with a huge price tag.
But here’s the thing: This parade cannot happen without approval from DC officials.
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, alongside the DC Council, has the power to put up bureaucratic roadblocks at every turn, from requiring Trump’s team to cover the costs of police, security overtime, and road repairs, to guarantees protestors won’t be arrested or brutalized.
It’s all to say, there’s INCREDIBLE leverage to stop Trump’s tank party in its tracks.
But DC can’t stop this parade alone: If we’re going to stop Trump again, Mayor Bowser needs to go toe-to-toe with the White House — an intimidating proposition for anyone. To do it, she’ll need to know that people across the country are with her — and that’s where you come in.
