Senator Catherine Cortez Masto here.

Right now, Donald Trump is throwing our country into chaos. The cost of living is skyrocketing, hardworking middle class families are being outrageously taxed from Trump’s trade war, and even basic health care services are at risk.

The American people are suffering. They want real solutions and sensible, commonsense governance and leadership. And if the Democratic Party is ever going to regain power in Washington, we need to support candidates who will provide it.

That’s why today, I’m proud to help launch ModSquad for the 2026 election cycle — and join the ModSquad team as honorary chair.

ModSquad is an organization dedicated to a simple mission: electing Democratic Senators who fight for hardworking families, lead with common sense, and deliver real results for their communities. If that’s a mission you’re on board with, please split a donation between ModSquad and Elissa Slotkin today →

These next elections are the best chance Democrats will have to prevent Trump's attacks on working families from succeeding. And I’m determined to win them.

That means investing in leaders who understand the needs of American families, who are going to provide common sense solutions to the problems that Americans are facing, who are standing up to extremism and putting people over politics every single day.

Moderate, commonsense Democrats are the only group that really overperformed in the 2024 election, and that’s our path forward. People want decency and real, workable ideas.

ModSquad is committed to showing the American people that Democrats are listening to and responding to their needs. And I strongly believe that when Americans are better able to hear and understand the work that Democrats are doing in the Senate, we can and will win back the majority in Congress.

If our mission resonates with you, please, chip in $5 or any amount you can to ModSquad and Elissa Slotkin and become a founding member of our grassroots movement. Every dollar helps us elect Democrats who will fight — and deliver — for the American people:

My home state of Nevada is one of the few states where both Donald Trump and a Democrat — my good friend Jacky Rosen — won in the last election. To me, that represents where our country is as a whole—not locked in on a party, but looking for leaders who understand their lives and offer real solutions.

I’ve won three tough statewide elections in Nevada by doing just that: showing up, listening, and focusing on what matters most to working families—lowering costs, keeping communities safe, and making government work like it should.

That’s what ModSquad is all about. We know that Democrats are fighting for the right things—lowering costs, expanding health care, and building up the middle class—and there are leaders in the Senate who are doing that work in real, pragmatic ways.

ModSquad is about lifting up those voices and amplifying the real work Democrats are doing here in the Senate to improve the lives of working families. Together, we‘re working to better fulfill the Democratic Party’s promise to improve life for hardworking families across the country.

So what do you say? Can I count on you to chip in today and help ModSquad fight for common sense policies, back strong Democratic leaders, and keep fighting for working families across the country?
