Congress is quickly advancing a budget bill that could gut the Inflation Reduction Act’s historic clean energy investments.
If this repeal of IRA programs succeeds, families could see higher energy bills, fewer good-paying jobs, and more climate pollution fueling rising temperatures.
These next few weeks could determine the fate of the most significant climate legislation in US history. Now is the time to speak out and contact your elected officials.
Act now: Urge Congress to defend the IRA’s climate investments and clean energy credits that lower costs for working families. [[link removed]]

The Inflation Reduction Act is already delivering on its promise to lower emissions, supercharge domestic manufacturing projects, and create a clean energy future for America. We can’t afford to stall this progress.
At a time when energy bills are rising for many Americans, experts project that repealing IRA programs could increase US energy bills by $6 billion annually by 2030. Experts also project that IRA repeal could cost the US nearly 790,000 jobs in 2030.
Clean energy is the cheapest form of new electricity almost everywhere, and it’s the fastest to build. With energy demands skyrocketing, this is not the time to slash our investments in clean energy projects that keep the lights on.
Write to your members of Congress and tell them to vote against any budget bill that repeals the Inflation Reduction Act’s clean energy incentives. [[link removed]]
