[[link removed]] [[link removed]] The Action You Take (or DON’T Take) Saves Kittens’ Lives It’s a beautiful day in May, and you stop to admire the flowers. But you pause
when you hear a small, muffled sound from within a bush. You crouch down,
carefully part some branches…and you see them: Tiny kittens, cuddled together!
What you do next—or more importantly, DON’T do—makes all the difference. May is
prime kitten season: the time of year most kittens are born. Though many people
have a compassionate impulse to scoop outdoor kittens up, that usually is not
the best course of action. In fact, if young kittens are brought to animal
shelters without humane programs, they will likely be killed.
Here’s what really saves lives. Spread the word:

[[link removed]] Microchips Save Lives Those touching, almost miraculous reunion stories in the headlines? The ones
where a cat comes home to her family months—or even years—after going missing?
There’s one tiny detail that makes it possible: a microchip!
This month is all about spreading awareness of the lifesaving power of
microchips. This is your reminder: Make sure all cats are microchipped and the
chips are registered with your up-to-date information. We even recommend
microchipping community cats!
