Fellow activist,

As the threat of the Trump administration stripping away tax-exempt status for nonprofits looms, which would be a blatant attack on what he sees as his political opponents, we are once again reminded how critical your grassroots support is to the success of our work.

While it’s harder to raise funds in odd-year elections, the support is just as important. This is especially true for Pennsylvania this year as we gear up for judicial elections that will have BIG impacts on our community and nation, but are often overlooked by the electorate. We are working to combat that, but we need your help.

NPP is grateful to have received multi-year funding that has allowed us to maintain our staff and programmatic efforts through the early parts of 2025. However, we rely on grassroots support to continue providing consistent voter engagement throughout the year.

Will you help us continue to fund our voter engagement efforts ahead of the primary elections happening this month by rushing $25 or more today?

Low turnout in judicial election years can be credited to low information/civic education around the elections, the judicial candidates, and the roles judges play in defending our democracy. To change that, we must INVEST in year-round civic education and engagement.

Our voter engagement does not stop after a presidential election – our staff continues to engage Pennsylvanians year-round as we know that consistent civic engagement is the way to truly build community power, increase voter turnout, especially in odd-year elections, and expand the electorate. But we cannot do it alone.

We need your help not only to maintain our current level of operations but also to ramp up as we prepare for the crucial Supreme Court retention elections and other judicial, local, and municipal elections in Pennsylvania. Can we count on you?

Help ensure that we can continue to fund our voter education and engagement work by rushing $25 or whatever you can now → ([link removed]

Donations to the New Pennsylvania Project supports our staff’s community engagement efforts including; organizing and hosting town halls, educational webinars, community conversations, and creating digital content, bi-weekly blasts and social media to reach the communities we engage year-round.
The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is a voting rights organization with a year-round primary focus on voter registration, civic education, and mobilization. NPP centers historically disenfranchised and often neglected Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth in our work. Through civic engagement, we ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth.
