Dear SPUC supporter,
I am resending this important email in case you missed it on Tuesday.
The battle lines are drawn. The abortion lobby stands ready to hijack the Crime and Policing Bill.
But we are still 83% short of reaching our emergency campaign goal.
If we don’t raise the full amount the abortionists will have won the first round.
And, if they win round two, hundreds of thousands of babies could die.

To stop this, I urgently need to raise £60k.
1. £20k to show MPs the British public is against more abortion
Modern politics is driven by polling.
MPs are often guided more by polls than personal conviction.
And all the evidence shows that the British public is against further liberalisation of abortion laws.
Polling last year showed that only 16% of people supported abortion decriminalisation.
In March 2024, we successfully saw off the threat of abortion decriminalisation. The above photo is from our demonstration at Westminster.
But we need to show MPs that this translates into opposition to any pro-abortion amendment that might be tacked onto the Crime and Policing Bill by shameless abortion MPs.
We must give them numbers they cannot ignore.
A high-quality poll, from a leading agency which MPs trust, together with targeted briefings and events in Parliament to share the findings, will cost us £20k.
Will you make this project possible today?

2. £10k to show MPs they will lose their seat if they support abortion
It is often said that “all politics is local.”
Time and again, this proves to be true.
Political and media pundits make predictions based on national strategies and international events – only for local politics to send national trends in an unexpected direction.
SPUC has a proven record of turning local strength into national impact – that’s why the abortion lobby fears us so much.
And it’s why my team is planning to target dozens of MPs with small majorities with petitions from their constituents demanding that they oppose any expansion of Britain’s abortion laws.
We will present MPs with petitions containing thousands of names - and they will realise that they have no choice but to vote with the pro-life movement or risk losing their seats.
Will you help me raise the £10k necessary to urgently fund this national project?

3. £30k to grow our branches faster - and reach every MP
SPUC currently has 60 local branches.
But there are 650 MPs who will vote on the Crime and Policing Bill.
Many of our branches cover more than one constituency — but it still isn’t enough.
No MP should be left unchallenged.
Every one of them must be made to feel overwhelming pressure — through letters, phone calls, emails, petitions, and face-to-face visits — until they do what is right.
I do believe that our message can awaken the consciences of MPs to do the right thing.
We urgently need more expert staff working full-time to launch new branches and support the ones we already have.
Volunteer activism is powerful — but it reaches its full strength only when backed by the professional support and coordination of our lobbying team.
At present, we have three branch development officers.
I want to grow this team to make sure Wales has a dedicated officer of its own.
This will greatly increase our influence on Welsh MPs and the Welsh Assembly — and it will allow our existing staff to focus more effectively on the rest of the UK.
Will you give today, so that SPUC can fight with full strength tomorrow?

There are MPs in the House of Commons who are deeply invested in abortion.
These radical politicians are openly hostile to our culture and civilisation.
They want to destroy the traditional understanding of family - but when the family falls, the rest of society falls with it.
These MPs are so enslaved to their ideology that their hearts are hardened against the fate of innocent babies, and against the suffering of their wounded mothers and fathers.
But most MPs are not like this.
Some politicians are deeply principled and committed to protecting life, others have been misled by decades of abortion propaganda, and yet more will vote whichever way furthers their career.
We must show all these MPs – good, misled, and indifferent – that opposing abortion is the best thing for them and for our country.
SPUC has the expertise to do the job — but we urgently need the resources which make it possible to act.

Our opponents have the money they need to bring maximum pressure on the MPs who will vote on amendments to the Crime and Policing Bill.
Every dead baby means more money for these callous killers and brings the destruction of our civilisation nearer.
SPUC doesn’t need the abortion industry’s millions to make a difference.
This is because the bulk of our campaign work is done by the tens of thousands of men and women who give their time and energy freely to fight on behalf of unborn babies.
But there are things that come with a price tag and that’s why we need your support today.
If everyone reading this gave £25 today, I could set all the above actions in motion tomorrow morning.
If you support SPUC today, you are standing between the abortion industry and hundreds of thousands of precious infants they want to kill.
You are taking part in the most noble human rights battle in history.
SPUC will keep fighting for as long as it takes to build a Britain where every human life is safe, loved, and protected.
We will never waver. We will never back down. We will never give in.
Please stand with us TODAY— and strike your decisive blow against the culture of death.

Thank you for your part in the victory,
John Deighan
Chief Executive
P.S. If we don’t ACT NOW, MPs may pass the most extreme abortion law in British history. Your gift today could stop it.
