In Delaware County, we don’t just talk about justice — we show up for it.
Last month, hundreds of neighbors gathered at the county courthouse for the Delco Trans March and Flag Raising. It was bold, joyful, unapologetic — and deeply necessary.

Because across the country, right-wing extremists are working overtime to roll back the rights and dignity of LGBTQ+ people, especially trans youth. The Trump administration and its allies have made it clear that they’re willing to attack the most vulnerable to score political points. We are not having it here.

I was proud to stand in solidarity that day. And I’ll keep standing — because in Delco, we believe every young person deserves to be seen, supported, and safe. We believe in showing up for each other.
